The Sumiko Palo Santos Presentation is a high-end moving coil phono cartridge featuring a handcrafted Brazilian Rosewood body designed for superior acoustic performance and ease of mounting. It incorporates a new generator anchoring system with an Alnico magnet for improved rigidity and reduced resonance, resulting in a vast open soundstage, natural midrange, and extended but non-bright high frequencies. The cartridge uses a long-grain boron cantilever for excellent energy transfer and a synthetic rubber suspension optimized for controlled acoustic performance and long lifespan. The stylus is a 75 x 5 micron ultra low-mass solid diamond line-contact type, providing exceptional detail retrieval and tonal complexity. The cartridge is hand-calibrated and tested with a battery of records to ensure top performance. Output terminals are unique gold-plated tapered brass pins, and it mounts with standard 0.5" hole spacing using supplied stainless steel hardware.
