About the Octave II

The Straight Wire Octave II speaker cable incorporates eight CCT (Compressed Conductor Technology) OFHC copper conductor groupings with advanced foam polypropylene insulation. This design compresses each conductor group to combine the best electrical and mechanical properties of solid core and stranded conductors, resulting in improved linearity, consistency, focus, depth, and musicality. The cable is internally bi-wireable (IBW) and has a matte putty jacket with a diameter of approximately 14.2mm (0.56 inches). It is terminated with large gold-plated spade connectors by default, with options for banana connectors, pins, bare wire, and bi-wire or tri-wire terminations available. The Octave II is suitable for serious audio enthusiasts and has low enough resistance for long cable runs, ensuring long-term conductor purity and sound quality through a costly process of coating each individual copper strand.
