About the Ultra SS
The Stillpoints Ultra SS is a stainless-steel vibration control footer designed to be used under audio components and loudspeakers. It uses Stillpoints' patented multi-stage ceramic bearing technology (four internal bearing levels between base and cap) to convert and dissipate micro-vibrations, improving clarity and resolution. The Ultra SS is height adjustable and can be threaded directly into components, racks, or speaker bases via its 1/4"-20 threaded insert, or used freestanding under flat surfaces with appropriate adapters. Compared with aluminum versions, the stainless-steel construction provides higher rigidity and more effective energy transfer, contributing to audible gains in soundstage width and depth, lower noise floor, and more precise focus when properly installed.
