This Steve Blinn Designs audio rack is constructed with a satin finish aluminum frame and solid butcher block maple shelves, each 1.5 inches thick and finished on all sides. The shelves are rated to hold up to 500 lbs each and are infinitely adjustable within the rack, allowing custom spacing. The maple shelves are finished in a medium gloss walnut stain and were manufactured by Sauder Woodworking in Ohio. The rack measures approximately 45" tall (without feet), 21.5" deep, and 45.25" wide, with shelves measuring 18" deep by 42" long. The legs are threaded to accommodate isolation feet, spikes, or cones for enhanced vibration control. This rack is highly regarded for its rock-solid construction and superior vibration isolation, making it suitable for high-end audio components such as McIntosh, Audio Research, and similar brands. It is no longer produced as Steve Blinn has passed away, making these racks collectible and rare. The rack is typically configured with 3 or 4 shelves and is known for its durability and elegant design.
