About the Varidig Sextet
The Stealth Varidig Sextet digital cable is composed of six identical, individually shielded Varidig cables matched in length, spiraled together and run in parallel around a hollow Kevlar reinforced center guide. Each Varidig cable features a solid core center wire and a quad-layer, variable pitch LITZ return, with hand-formed Teflon insulation. This design concept is similar to stacking multiple DAC chips in parallel to improve low-level resolution, resonance control, and reduce digital artifacts such as pre- and after-ringing. The Sextet is handmade, not available in bulk or machine-made form, and uses custom Stealth-designed connectors optimized for digital audio transmission. The AES/EBU version is thicker and less flexible due to its outer shielding and impedance matching geometry. The cable is praised for its detailed, clean, smooth, and natural sound with no tonal coloration, offering a refined soundstage, improved dynamics, and a very low noise floor. It is considered a reference-level digital cable with a
