About the Indra
The Stealth Indra interconnect is built around nine ultra-thin amorphous-metal micro-conductors, arranged in a proprietary distributed LITZ multicore geometry. The amorphous alloy is perfectly homogeneous and grain-less, with no crystal structure, so its conductivity is identical in all directions. Each conductor is individually insulated (Teflon) and kept physically separated to eliminate galvanic interaction and reduce electromagnetic coupling. The ultra-thin wire (around 0.001" / ~50 AWG in later revisions) is used specifically to minimize skin effect, time-domain errors, and electrical resonances. Stealth's non-resonant distributed LITZ geometry ensures that the individual strands do not run parallel over the cable length, supporting controlled characteristic impedance and very low noise. The dielectric is a low-energy-storage porous, foam-like PTFE, chosen for fast charge/discharge behavior and mechanical resonance control via optimized density and damping. The Indra uses proprietary Stealth connectors with very low mass, solid silver contacts, machined ultra-modified PTFE dielectric, Kevlar composite support frames, and carbon fiber or titanium shells. Termination is done via high-pressure cold-weld crimping directly into the silver contacts, avoiding solder and creating a seamless mechanical and electrical transition. In use, the Indra is relatively flexible and lightweight, though it can exhibit some rotational stiffness with XLR terminations, making side-by-side component placement more convenient than stacked layouts. Sonically, it is widely regarded as an extremely low-noise, high-purity cable that removes artificiality, presents a very black background, precise imaging and soundstaging, and a natural yet highly detailed, dynamic balance that suits mature, well-sorted reference systems.
