The Stealth Audio Dream Royale Mk2 loudspeaker cable is a high-mass, ultra-wide speaker cable that continues Stealth's Dream Royale line, using 32 individual conductor runs and the proprietary STEALTH VariCross variable cross-section technology to optimize electrical behavior along its length. VariCross construction varies the diameter of the conductive core along the cable while keeping the outer jacket diameter constant, so the effective cross-section changes along the cable in a way that improves impedance matching between power amplifier and loudspeaker and enhances midbass and deep bass performance while maintaining high midrange and treble clarity. This geometry also lowers the resonance Q across the audio band, reducing cable-related resonances, coloration, and improving overall tonal balance and perceived transparency. Like other Dream Royale variants, the Mk2 uses Stealth's para-vacuum tube architecture: the conductors are housed in a hermetically sealed flexible tube filled with helium, an extremely light, inert gas that provides an excellent dielectric environment, minimizes energy storage, and prevents wire oxidation or long-term deterioration while remaining fully flexible in use. The cable is entirely handmade, as the complex variable-cross-section and gas-filled construction cannot be produced reliably by machine, and it occupies the very top tier of Stealth's loudspeaker cable lineup, intended for reference-grade audiophile systems where maximum resolution, neutrality, and bass authority are priorities.
