About the AD4.320
The Starke Sound AD4.320 is a highly versatile power amplifier that combines the efficiency of Class D circuitry with the sound quality of Class AB designs. It features a hybrid NS-600 module with an analog power supply and Class D output, operating at a sampling rate of 600 kHz. The amplifier can be configured in 2, 3, or 4-channel modes, making it suitable for various home theater and HiFi setups. In four-channel mode, it delivers 225 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 320 watts per channel at 4 ohms. In two-channel mode, it can produce up to 430 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 650 watts per channel at 2 ohms when bridged. The AD4.320 offers a frequency response of 5 Hz to 100 kHz (-1.5 dB), a signal-to-noise ratio of 112 dB (A-weighted), and a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.04% at 1 kHz and 320 watts at 4 ohms. It includes both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs, with input impedances of 100 kOhms and 200 kOhms respectively. The amplifier features custom beryllium copper binding posts for output connections and supports a 12VDC trigger for remote control. Notably, the AD4.320 maintains its sound quality regardless of configuration, whether in bridged or non-bridged modes.
