About the Platforms

Star Sound Technologies’ Sistrum platforms are vibration-control products intended for audio components and loudspeakers. The range includes the Sistrum Rhythm platforms, available in RP1 single-, RP2 double-, RP3 triple-, and RP4 four-platform configurations, and the Sistrum Apprentice SP-SA-103 speaker platform. The SP-SA-103 uses a quarter-inch-thick black steel plate with movable Audio Points that can be positioned in integrated tracks to accommodate different loudspeaker footprints. It measures approximately 14 inches deep, 14 inches wide at the front, and 10 inches wide at the back, and is specified to support up to 800 pounds. Star Sound’s Audio Points are used as mechanical grounding interfaces to manage vibration transmission between equipment, platforms, and the supporting surface.
