About the Spectron Remote Sense
The Spectron Remote Sense speaker cables are designed to extend the amplifier's global feedback loop all the way to the speaker terminals, allowing the amplifier to correct signal errors caused by the speaker cables themselves. These cables feature four conductors: two carry the musical signal, while the other two sense voltage at the speaker end and feed back to the amplifier output, effectively making the cables part of the amplifier's feedback circuit. This technology results in faster, more detailed bass, reduced distortion in mids and highs, and improved resolution of low-level detail. The cables use Neutrik Speakon connectors at the amplifier end for secure and easy connection, and WBT locking banana plugs or spade terminals at the speaker end. The wire used is JPS Labs' Superconductor 3, known for its stiffness and high quality. The Remote Sense cables were originally developed for use with Spectron's Musician series amplifiers and are They have been praised for enhancing amplifier performance by increasing speed, articulation, and bass depth without negative trade-offs.
