About the MCP-2
The Soundsmith MCP-2 is a high-performance moving coil (MC) phono preamplifier designed to accommodate low-output MC and moving iron cartridges with flexible loading and very low noise. It provides continuously variable input loading from 10 Ohms to 5 kOhms via a front-panel control, allowing precise matching to a wide range of cartridges.
