The Soulution 725 preamplifier features a dual-mono design with discrete left and right channels to maximize audio purity and minimize crosstalk. It uses high-precision metal foil resistors for volume control with an additional noise-free Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) for smooth volume adjustments without clicks. The unit includes an optional phono stage with +54 to +60 dB gain and a bandwidth of up to 1 MHz, ensuring accurate reproduction. It is equipped with two dedicated power supplies—one for audio stages and one for digital circuits—providing extremely stable and noise-free power with over 500,000 µFarad of storage capacitance for almost unlimited impulse current. Inputs include 2 balanced (XLR), 3 unbalanced (RCA), and 1 optional phono input, with outputs of 1 balanced (XLR) and 1 unbalanced (RCA). The preamplifier offers virtually no distortion (<0.0006% THD+N), a signal-to-noise ratio of 140 dB, and a frequency response from DC to 1 MHz. It weighs approximately 30 kg and measures 480 x 167 x 450 mm. The 725 is designed to maintain consistent level and phase performance regardless of load without relying on high negative feedback, resulting in maximum channel separation and impressive bandwidth.
