The Sony PS-150 is a direct drive auto player turntable system released in 1981, featuring a built-in headphone amplifier and phono equalizer amplifier for easy connection to radio cassette or component systems. It uses a low-mass straight tone arm with a static balance type and a 30.4 cm aluminum die-cast platter for stable rotation. The turntable is equipped with a linear BSL motor and magnetic disk servo for smooth and quiet operation, with wow and flutter rated at 0.03% WRMS and a signal-to-noise ratio of 72 dB (DIN-B). It supports 33 and 45 RPM speeds with auto return and reject mechanisms.
