The Sonus Faber Olympica Nova II Floorstanding Speakers combine exquisite Italian design with cutting-edge audio technology to deliver a refined listening experience. They feature a 3-way, full para-aperiodic vented box "Stealth Ultraflex" system with an asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet crafted from eight layers of curved wood for enhanced rigidity and reduced vibration. The cabinet is finished with hand-applied Italian leather accents and hand-finished wood, embodying Sonus Faber's Natural Sound ethos. Drivers include a 28 mm H28 XTR3 silk dome tweeter with Damped Apex Dome (DAD™) technology for smooth high frequencies, a 150 mm M15 XTR2-04 midrange driver made from a blend of air-dried cellulose pulp and natural fibers for natural sound and transparency, and a 180 mm W18XTR2-04 woofer with an exclusive sandwich cone construction for powerful and coherent bass. The speakers have a frequency response of 40 Hz to 35,000 Hz, sensitivity of 88 dB SPL (2.83V/1 m), nominal impedance of 4 ohms, and recommended amplifier power of 50W to 250W undistorted signal. The design includes a low-turbulence reflex port integrated into the cabinet to improve airflow and reduce distortion. Dimensions are approximately 1037 x 360 x 423 mm (HxWxD) and weight is about 30.7 kg each. The speakers are made in Vicenza, Italy, reflecting meticulous craftsmanship and premium materials.
