The Sonus faber Guarneri G5 is the fifth generation of the iconic Guarneri bookshelf speaker, paying homage to the Italian luthier Giuseppe Guarneri. It features a two-way vented box "Stealth Ultraflex" system with a 28 mm DAD Arrow Point tweeter and a 150 mm neodymium magnet mid-woofer optimized for reduced resonance and nuanced acoustic detail. The crossover is set at 2,200 Hz with a phase coherent design that enhances three-dimensional sound and lowers noise floor. The cabinet design mirrors the curves of a violin, reducing internal resonances and enhancing rigidity for refined sound. The speaker is available in finishes including Graphite, Red, and Wenge with Italian leather accents. It is complemented by a carbon fiber and aluminum stand designed to minimize resonance. The Guarneri G5 requires an amplifier power output between 30W and 125W and has a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Dimensions are 377 × 239 × 375 mm and weight is 4.6 kg per speaker. This model continues Sonus faber's tradition of combining timeless craftsmanship with contemporary acoustic innovation.
