The Sonus Faber Concertino Home is a refined bookshelf speaker designed as a successor to the original Concertino, featuring a smaller, less box-shaped design with sloped front and back panels. It is a 9-liter two-way system with a front reflex port and constructed with decoupled side panels to control resonance. The cabinet combines leather and solid walnut for both aesthetic and acoustic benefits. The speaker uses Sonus Faber's proprietary drivers: a 26mm silk dome ferrofluid-cooled neodymium tweeter and a 150mm fiberglass multicoated cone mid-woofer, both magnetically shielded. The crossover is a first-order attenuated design with a 2.5kHz cross-point. It has a nominal impedance of 6 ohms, sensitivity of 88dB at 1 watt/1 meter, and a frequency response from 50Hz to 20kHz. Power handling ranges from 30 to 150 watts without clipping. The Concertino Home is noted for its better tonal balance across frequencies, improved bass and midbass reproduction, a deeper soundstage, and a forward but unfatiguing midrange. It is versatile, easy to drive, and pairs well with vinyl sources. Dimensions are 21 x 29.5 x 32.5 cm, weighing 8 kg per speaker. It is part of Sonus Faber's home theatre series and is praised for its flawless build and musicality.
