The Sonore opticalModule Deluxe v2 is a high-quality bi-directional fiber media converter (FMC) featuring an SFP fiber optic transceiver and an RJ45 connector. It supports both 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps network devices and flow control for NAA streaming. Designed to match the form factor of the ultraRendu and opticalRendu, it is compatible with Sonore Rendu (ethernet input with USB and SPDIF/i2s output), Sonore endPoint (ethernet input with SPDIF/AES-EBU output), and 100 speed Ethernet DACs and DDCs such as PS Audio Direct Stream and dCS Network Bridge. The device includes improved circuit layout, supports the Sonore dual faceplate, and has link and speed indicator LEDs on the ethernet connector. All connections are located on the rear faceplate. It features four high-quality ultra low noise linear regulators and a fixed frequency ultra low jitter FEMTO oscillator for superior audio performance. The unit is systemOptique Certified, ensuring optimal galvanic isolation and noise reduction in network audio streaming. Power input is 5-9 VDC via a 2.1mm x 5.5mm center-positive connector. Dimensions are 3.5" x 2.2" x 0.7". The product includes the opticalModule Deluxe unit and an SFP fiber optic transceiver module. It is designed to be used with any music server or network endpoint to achieve the cleanest possible sound from network streaming.
