The Sonore microRendu 2.7 is a compact, high-performance audiophile microcomputer music player that connects via Gigabit Ethernet and outputs USB audio to your DAC. It supports a wide range of audio formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, AAC, OGG, WMA, DSF, and DFF, with native sampling rates up to 768kHz and DSD formats up to DSD512. The device uses a proprietary printed circuit board optimized for USB audio performance, featuring improved power converters, a low-jitter clock buffer, and a reliable USB port. It is designed to be small and lightweight, easily fitting in the palm of your hand, and can be powered by a 6-9 VDC power supply delivering at least 1 Amp. The microRendu 2.7 supports network protocols such as Roon RAAT, DLNA, Squeezebox, and NAA (HQPlayer), and includes a 60-day Roon trial. It is compatible with streaming services like Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify. The device is not a server but a renderer that receives audio streams from an external server and outputs a bitstream to a USB DAC.
