Solidsteel equipment racks use modular, stacked-shelf designs with MDF shelves supported by painted/anodized aluminum poles that are internally filled with sound-absorbing damping material to control resonance and vibration. The S3 Series employs non-welded, threaded aluminum tubular supports combined with 1.18" (30 mm) MDF shelves finished in polymer laminate, each shelf typically supporting up to about 60 kg (~132 lb). Higher-end Hyperspike/HF and S5 Series racks add stainless-steel structural elements, heavier MDF shelves, and higher per-shelf load capacity (around 80 kg / 176 lb) for larger or heavier components. Across these ranges, Solidsteel's racks share adjustable spikes or Hyperspike feet with protective floor discs and modular uprights/pillar kits that allow customization of shelf height and the number of tiers.
