The SME Model 60 represents 75 years of engineering excellence as SME's most advanced turntable, surpassing the legendary Model 30. It features a fully suspended two-tier design with de-coupled adjustable feet using multipoint isolation via rubber O-rings and polymer decoupling, intelligent suspension system with 60 precision-ground rubber bands for horizontal and vertical control, hydraulically dampened main bearing in a silicone-fluid bath, acoustically treated aluminum chassis, sub-chassis, and platter. Powered by a custom bi-phase 24V AC synchronous motor with DSP-generated pure sine waves for precise speed control (33.33/45 rpm), belt drive, independent power transformer, and Class AB bipolar output stage. Equipped with Series VA tonearm (advanced polymer resin tube, trilobed cross-section for reduced resonance), Crystal Cable 0.1mm Mono X-Tal internal wiring, chassis-mounted RCA phono outputs (optional balanced XLR). Available in black/silver anodized, premium diamond silver, or colored finishes. Delivers exceptional detail, composure, and minimal intrusion for pure vinyl reproduction.
