Skylan speaker stands are crafted with a focus on minimizing resonance and enhancing sound quality. They feature a 1-inch thick base with die-cast threaded inserts for adjustable steel points or soft feet, depending on the floor type. The stands are designed to be filled with materials like sand or wood pellets for mass loading, which helps in reducing vibrations and improving sound clarity. The top plate is rigid and non-resonant, often including high friction neoprene de-coupling pads to ensure a stable speaker/stand interface. Skylan stands are highly customizable, allowing for adjustments in height and plate size to fit specific speaker models.
