The Sistrum SP-1 is a single component platform designed to support amplifiers or loudspeakers regardless of their weight and size. It features an adjustable design with two sets of Audio Points that screw together inversely to couple the component and flooring directly to earth ground, following the Sistrum method. The platform measures approximately 17.25 inches wide by 14.5 inches deep, with a shelf height of 5/16 inch and an Audio Point height of 5/16 inch. The SP-1 is essentially a smaller version of the SP-6 six-shelf platform, lacking the outer edges designed to hold rods. Users have reported significant improvements in sound quality, including enhanced upper bass definition, clearer top-end shimmer, and improved overall dynamics and transparency. The platform also helps reduce restrictions at frequency extremes and allows for higher volume listening with better control and less distortion. The platform is constructed with high-quality materials and includes a musical note engraving as a design feature. Setup is straightforward and quick, typically taking about ten minutes.
