The Simaudio MOON P5.3 is a high-end stereo preamplifier that succeeds the award-winning P-5 model, incorporating technologies from the Evolution series. It offers five line-level inputs (one balanced XLR, four single-ended RCA), a user-configurable home-theater bypass input, IR input for external control, and a 12V trigger. An optional internal phono preamp is available with adjustable gain, capacitance, and resistance loading. The SE version upgrades the volume control to 0-99 steps with tighter tolerances. Key design features include a capacitor-free signal path of only 10 inches, oversized power supply with i²DCf regulation (14 stages), open-loop zero-feedback topology, symmetrical circuit, 4-layer pure copper PCBs, and rigid chassis to minimize vibrations. It includes the FRM-2 full-function remote control. Designed for continuous operation, it delivers exceptional sonic performance, transparency, and dynamics. This model is no longer manufactured.
