The Simaudio MOON Neo 260D is a versatile CD player and transport that can be optionally equipped with a high-quality 32-bit asynchronous Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC). It features a proprietary CD drive system mounted on the M-Quattro gel-based 4-point floating suspension for superior vibration damping, enhancing ambient and spatial cues in recordings. The unit includes two digital outputs (S/PDIF and AES/EBU), four digital inputs (2x S/PDIF, 1x TosLink, 1x USB) with galvanic isolation on the USB input to eliminate ground currents, and balanced and single-ended analog outputs when the DAC is installed. The chassis is ultra-rigid to minimize external vibrations, and the power supply offers 13 stages of voltage regulation for stable performance. The Neo 260D supports PCM bit-depths from 16 to 24 bits and sampling frequencies from 44.1 to 192 kHz. It includes a large, easy-to-read front panel display and a full-function remote control. The DAC section is optional and The product weighs 7.5 kg and measures 429 x 86 x 333 mm (W x H x D).
