About the 240i

The Simaudio Moon 240i is a Class-AB integrated amplifier delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 85 watts into 4 ohms, with the first 5 watts operating in Class-A. It features three line-level analog inputs, including two RCA inputs on the rear and a 1/8" mini jack on the front for portable devices. The rear analog inputs can be configured to bypass the volume control for use with external volume sources. The built-in phono stage supports moving-magnet cartridges only. The amplifier includes a versatile DAC with five digital inputs: two optical (TosLink) supporting up to 96kHz PCM, two coaxial S/PDIF inputs supporting up to 192kHz, and a USB input capable of decoding PCM up to 384kHz and DSD64, 128, and 256 formats. Additional features include a headphone output, pre-out/subwoofer output, SimLink control, IR input, and RS232 connectivity.
