The Silent Running Audio Ohio Class Plus 2 is a component-specific isolation platform from SRA's Ohio Class XL+2 series, designed as a bespoke base for a single piece of audio equipment. It is custom-built to the exact width, depth, weight, and weight distribution of the component it supports, and can be recalibrated by SRA if the owner later changes equipment while keeping the same basic dimensions. The platform uses Silent Running Audio's proprietary Raft Isolation System and other internal techniques that combine coupling/rigidity in the upper structure with decoupling and mass loading in the lower section to control vibration and resonance. The Ohio Class Plus 2 is hand-built to order, finished in high-gloss or other custom colors, and is intended to act both as an isolation device and a resonance sink, improving perceived soundstage stability, bass definition, and clarity by reducing mechanical and environmental vibration reaching the supported component.
