Silent Running Audio Craz 4 Reference isoRack Plus is a made-to-order, reference-grade audio equipment rack built for high-performance vibration isolation. Each rack is custom-sized to the buyers system, so dimensions and shelf spacing are specified per order. The Craz architecture combines a hardwood outer frame with a titanium internal iso-Skeleton, tuned with damping compounds and developed using computer modeling to minimize the racks own mechanical self-noise. The skeleton is fitted inside the wood members with tight tolerances, then bonded and damped to control resonances. The rack uses multiple vibration-control strategies at once: rigidity, mass-loading, controlled coupling and decoupling between shelves and frame, multiple-degree-of-freedom isolation, and mechanical choke points. Shelves are a proprietary nano-particle composite engineered as sinks for structure-borne vibration. The isolation system also comprises footer assemblies, a Mass-Load-Support-System (MLSS), and isoPods. Units ship in ultra-heavy-duty crates with minimal assembly.
