About the Silver Resolution
SignalCable Silver Resolution Speaker Cables are hybrid speaker cables for stereo pairs, using 6 conductors per cable (4 silver and 2 copper) with a total of 80 strands of 5N pure silver and 40 strands of high-purity bare copper. Each conductor uses thin-wall Teflon tube insulation, with a braided 5N silver-plated OFC shield and a Teflon tape / PVC outer jacket. The cable has an effective gauge of 12 AWG per channel, an internal twisted cross-linked geometry, nominal capacitance of 18.5 pF/ft, DC resistance of 18.3 Ω/1000 ft, and inductance of 0.13 µH/ft. The standard length is 6 feet per stereo pair, with tinned bare-wire terminations using WBT silver solder, and optional direct silver-plated spades, BFA banana plugs, custom terminations, bi-wiring, and longer lengths available.
