About the Silver Resolution
The SignalCable Silver Resolution Speaker Cables are designed with 6 conductors per cable (4 silver and 2 copper), comprising a total of 80 strands of 5N pure silver and 40 strands of high purity bare copper. Each conductor is insulated with a thin wall Teflon tube, and the cable is shielded with braided 5N silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC). The outer jacket consists of Teflon tape and polyvinylchloride. The cables have an effective gauge size of 12 AWG per channel and feature an internal twisted, cross-linked geometry for optimal signal integrity. Electrical characteristics include a nominal capacitance of 18.5 pF/ft, conductor DC resistance of 18.3 Ω/1000 ft, and inductance of 0.13 µH/ft. Standard length is 6 feet per pair, with tinned bare wire terminations using WBT silver solder. Optional terminations include direct silver-plated spades and BFA banana plugs, with custom terminations available. Pricing starts at per pair, with additional costs for longer lengths, bi-wiring, and termination upgrades.
