The Signal Cable Ultra Speaker Cable is SignalCable's best-selling Ultra series speaker cable and uses 8 stranded high-purity copper conductors with a total of 152 bare copper strands, each individually insulated in polyethylene (PE). The design is unshielded, with an outer PVC (polyvinylchloride) jacket and an internal twisted, cross-linked geometry that yields an effective gauge of 10 AWG per channel. This construction is promoted by the manufacturer as providing high transparency, neutral tonal balance, extended frequency response, and excellent noise rejection, delivering reference-level performance at a relatively affordable price point. The Ultra Speaker Cable is offered in single-wire, bi-wire, and bi-amp configurations, with gold-plated terminations including spades, banana plugs, and pins, sold per stereo pair with a standard 4-foot length and custom lengths and terminations available on request.
