The Shindo Montille CV391 is a high-quality push-pull stereo power amplifier delivering 20 watts per channel in pure class A operation. It employs four British Vintage CV391 tubes as output devices, providing a rich, warm, and punchy sound signature. Positioned between the Montille 6v6 and the higher-powered Montrachet models, it features a three-stage amplifier design with solid-state rectification and uses Hammond output transformers. The amplifier has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 30 kHz, an input sensitivity of 1V with 100kΩ impedance, and a signal-to-noise ratio of -60 dB. It consumes 130W of power and supports AC mains of 117V or 230V at 50/60Hz. The chassis dimensions are 250 mm wide, 170 mm high, and 340 mm deep, weighing 13.5 kg. The Montille CV391 is praised for its excellent synergy with Shindo preamps and its ability to deliver detailed, timbrally accurate sound with a slightly rich bass character.
