The Sennheiser HD 600 headphones feature an open-back, circumaural (over-ear) design with a 42 mm dynamic driver and a frequency response range of 12 Hz to 40.5 kHz. They have an impedance of 300 ohms and a sound pressure level of 97 dB, making them suitable for use with dedicated headphone amplifiers. The headphones utilize a two-layer diaphragm technology to reduce resonance and a neodymium ferrous magnet optimized for deep bass without loss of definition. The triple-wound aluminum voice coils ensure excellent transient response.
