About the 310B
The Scott 310B is a monophonic FM tuner produced by Scott in 1957/1958. It operates on AC power (110-120V, 60Hz) and consumes 50 watts. The tuner uses 10 tubes and employs a superheterodyne principle with an RF stage and an intermediate frequency of 10,700 kHz. It covers the FM broadcast band only and includes 13 tuned FM circuits. The unit features a signal strength and tuning meter, tape recorder output, and is designed for use with headphones or an amplifier. The chassis dimensions are 13.25 x 4.75 x 9.75 inches (337 x 121 x 248 mm). The 310B introduced the traditional Scott round tuning dial with a small vernier knob coaxially mounted.
