The Scott 222D is a stereo integrated tube amplifier produced around 1962-1963. It features 20 watts per channel output into 8 ohms, a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz, and total harmonic distortion of 0.8%. It includes an integrated moving magnet (MM) phonostage allowing direct connection of a turntable. The amplifier uses a valve complement of 4 x 12AX7, 2 x 6U8, and 4 x 7189 tubes. It supports speaker loads from 4 to 16 ohms and has an input sensitivity of 3mV for MM and 500mV for line inputs. The signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 80dB on line inputs.
