About the Vali 3

The Schiit Audio Vali 3 is the latest iteration of the popular Vali series, a tube hybrid headphone amplifier and preamp designed for desktop use. It features a single 6N3P tube operating at 100V plate voltage for enhanced linearity and gain, paired with a fully discrete Class AB bipolar output stage using Coherence™ current-feedback topology without op-amps. Improvements over predecessors include higher tube voltage (from 60V), reduced feedback, optimized layout, and a new USA-stamped chassis with superior ventilation for lower operating temperatures. It supports both hard-to-drive planar headphones and sensitive IEMs, with RCA inputs, preamp outputs (muted when headphones are connected), a shared volume control, 1/4" headphone jack, and high/low gain switch. Powered by a linear wall-wart supply with slow turn-on and fast turn-off protection. Available in black or silver, fully assembled and tested in Texas, USA.
