About the Lokius

The Schiit Lokius is a fully analog 6-band equalizer with both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs and outputs, designed for transparent tone shaping in high-performance systems. It uses a single-gain-stage active topology with passive filtering and high-quality components (sealed Alps potentiometers, Wima and Panasonic film capacitors, dual-stage power regulation) to minimize noise and distortion while providing precise control at 20Hz, 120Hz, 400Hz, 2kHz, 6kHz, and 16kHz. Lokius can be inserted between a source and preamp or between a preamp and power amp, and includes a front-panel EQ bypass switch that routes the signal through the active stage but defeats the EQ filters for quick comparisons.
