The Schiit Kara is a high-performance audio product that serves as both a preamplifier and a headphone amplifier. It is designed to succeed the Freya S, offering a discrete differential solid-state design with Schiit's proprietary Nexus balanced differential topology. This topology provides near-limitless headroom and exceptional performance without relying heavily on feedback. The Kara includes a highly capable and fully protected headphone jack, which is a first for a Schiit preamp, based on the same discrete high-rail stage as the single-ended preamp outputs.
