About the Premier MKIII
The Scheu Analog Premier MKIII is a high-mass, beltless-string-drive turntable designed as a modular deck without included arm or cartridge. It uses a separate DC motor in a massive metal housing, a precision inverted bearing, and an acrylic plinth/platter assembly. The MKIII version is arranged as a double-arm base, allowing flexible mounting of one or two 9-inch or 12-inch tonearms. It is described as Scheu’s most sold standard drive unit and is offered in multiple exclusive finishes.
