About the Premier MKII
The Scheu Analog Premier MKII is a mass-loaded, beltless turntable that uses a separate electronically regulated DC motor and a nearly invisible nylon string drive. It is known for its simple but highly rigid acrylic construction, inverted bearing design, and support for 9-inch or 12-inch tonearms. The Premier MKII was offered with either a 50 mm platter or an optional 80 mm platter, and it has been described as one of Scheu Analog’s best-selling designs. Available sources indicate a retail price of about 3,299 euro for the 50 mm platter version with Classic Mk2 tonearm, with the 80 mm version priced higher.
