The Scheu Analog Classic Mk II tonearm is a redesigned version of a cult classic model, featuring a total redesign of the base unit with a high-gloss nickel finish, improved lift mechanism, and adjustable anti-skating. It retains the unipivot bearing principle and a single-piece tonearm made from laser-cut sheet aluminum folded into a U-shaped profile, available with black or red powder coating. The nitrogen-hardened and polished unipivot bearing ensures minimal friction. The arm includes built-in azimuth adjustment, lateral balance, and anti-skating. It is available in two lengths: 10-inch (227 mm spindle to pivot, 11 g effective mass) and 12-inch (293 mm spindle to pivot), with the 12-inch version being a perfect partner for the Denon DL-103 cartridge. The Classic Mk II is praised for its excellent sound quality, reliability, and unbeatable price for its quality level, making it a well-regarded choice in high-end analog playback setups.
