The Veracity HT3 is a true 3-way design speaker with a frequency response from 29Hz to 40kHz +/- 3dB, delivering essentially ruler-flat response from 34Hz to 25,000Hz. It features a 10-inch long throw woofer for deep, tight musical bass, a Seas Excel W18 EX midrange driver, and a G2 pure ribbon tweeter for crystal clear, detailed top end. The speaker is praised for its transparency, accuracy, and ability to disappear into the room, creating a deep and wide soundstage with precise imaging and a large sweet spot. It excels in clarity, articulation, speed, and dynamics, capable of concert-level volumes without strain. The HT3 works well in both nearfield and midfield setups and can be placed close or far apart while maintaining solid center fill and imaging. However, it has a forward sound signature that may not suit everyone and requires proper room treatment to manage powerful bass and avoid room mode issues. The speaker weighs 87 pounds and measures 12" W x 15" D x 40" H (excluding plinths). It was Salk Sound has discontinued new speaker production as of 2023.
