The Salamander Designs Archetype 3.0 is a modular, infinitely adjustable audio/video shelving system featuring three shelves supported by threaded steel rods and fasteners. It is designed to hold TVs up to 40 inches diagonally with a maximum weight capacity of approximately 150 lbs per shelf, including the top shelf. The shelves are made of 3/4" thick low-resonant MDF or solid American hardwoods (available in finishes such as natural walnut, cherry, maple, or black MDF), providing strength and anti-resonant characteristics. The open architecture facilitates superior component venting and easy cable management, while neoprene washers and steel hardware isolate components to reduce vibration and enhance sonic performance. The modular design allows stacking and customization of shelf height and number, with accessories available for added functionality. Dimensions are approximately 23" wide x 28" high x 16" deep. The stand is hand-built in the USA with a focus on sustainability and quality craftsmanship. It is well-suited for moderate AV component setups and audiophiles seeking a stylish, functional, and vibration-isolating furniture piece.
