The Sablon Audio Corona Reserva power cord is a high-end, flagship design by Mark Coles, featuring thick bundles of cryogenically treated copper conductors with a separate screened ground and a braided geometry. It uses the Oyaide 004 plugset, which is cryo-treated and incorporates noise-absorbing crystals and vibration-damping materials similar to Japanese Acoustic Revive filters. The cable is conditioned on an Audiodharma Anniversary Cable Cooker before shipping to ensure it is broken in. It offers a neutral and transparent sound signature with excellent timbre, richness, dynamic range, and extended frequency response. The cable is unusually pliable for its size and finished with a classy bronze jacket. It is designed to reduce noise and RF interference, providing a holistic and accurate sound experience that enhances resolution, tonality, and vitality without adding warmth or coloration. The standard length is 5 feet, terminated with 15-amp IEC connectors and Type B 120V/60Hz plugs for the US market. The Corona Reserva replaced the previous Gran Corona model and is considered a substantial upgrade in neutrality and transparency.
