The S.M.S.L. SU-9 Pro is a cutting-edge balanced DAC designed for audiophiles seeking high fidelity and versatile connectivity. It uses an 8-channel ESS SABRE ES9039MPRO DAC chip combined with 11 OPA1612A op-amps, delivering an exceptional dynamic range of 134dB and ultra-low distortion (THD+N of 0.00005%). The DAC supports PCM up to 768kHz and DSD512 playback via USB, optical, and coaxial inputs, with native DSD and DoP support. It features a third-generation XMOS XU316 USB controller for true 32-bit USB audio processing. The SU-9 Pro includes Bluetooth 5.0 with support for LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, SBC, and AAC codecs, enabling wireless high-resolution streaming. The device has both RCA (2.5Vrms output, 128dB dynamic range) and balanced XLR outputs (5.2Vrms, 133dB dynamic range) for flexible connection to amplifiers or powered monitors.
