The Rythmik Audio LVX12 is a 12-inch vented subwoofer designed to deliver deep, dynamic, and accurate bass with high efficiency and low distortion. It employs Rythmik's patented Direct Servo technology, which precisely controls the driver cone to reduce distortion, thermal compression, and mechanical memory effects, resulting in tight and musical bass performance. The LVX12 features a multi-tune capability allowing users to select either one-port or two-port operation, optimizing bass extension and output for different listening preferences. It uses a high excursion, low inertia 12" driver with a metal cone and rubber surround, powered by a 400W RMS Hypex UcD module-based amplifier with a toroidal power transformer and large power capacitors for stable power delivery. The enclosure is solid and well-braced to minimize resonance and coloration, available in black matte or black oak vinyl finishes. The subwoofer includes selectable 12 dB or 24 dB/octave crossover slopes, a phase adjustment control from 0 to 180 degrees, and bass damping factor settings to tailor the sound. It supports 120V-240V switchable voltage operation and comes with a 5-year warranty on the driver and 3 years on electronics. The LVX12 is praised for its smooth, non-boomy bass that can sound almost like a sealed subwoofer when one port is closed, making it suitable for both music and home theater applications.
