About the VariScreen
The RPG VariScreen™ is the industry’s first free standing variable acoustics screen designed to provide broad bandwidth absorption on one side and RPG's flat binary amplitude diffsorbor (BAD™) on the other. It features two hinged upholstered panels that create a Variable Depth Air Cavity (VDAC™) for adjustable low frequency bass control. This design helps control bass build-up and mid/high frequency reflections, making it ideal for difficult-to-treat rooms where surface mounting is not possible. The VariScreen™ is widely used in critical listening environments such as recording studios, home theatres, vocal booths, trade show exhibit rooms, and music practice rooms. It supports flexible positioning including free-standing use in front of windows, corners, or as room dividers. Optional features include a mass loaded vinyl barrier for sound isolation and ball casters for mobility. The screen is available in a range of designer fabrics for aesthetic integration.
