The Rogue Audio Sphinx v2 is a dynamic, transparent, and musical hybrid integrated amplifier featuring a pure tube mu-follower preamplifier stage with matched 12AU7 tubes coupled to a Class D output stage using Hypex modules. It provides 100Wpc into 8 ohms (200Wpc into 4 ohms), a discrete headphone amplifier, and a phono section with 45dB gain suitable for high-output MM and MC cartridges. Additional features include 4 inputs (phono, line 1-3), active and fixed RCA outputs for subwoofers or bi-amping, Alps volume potentiometer, optional metal remote, balance control, gold-plated RCA inputs and binding posts, and a machined aluminum faceplate in black or silver. Designed with a custom 375VA toroidal transformer, massive linear power supply, heavy copper circuit board, and low power consumption (standby 6W). Hand-built in the USA with a 3-year warranty (6 months on tubes). The Sphinx v2 is no longer manufactured, superseded by the v3 Magnum.
