The Rogue Audio Ninety-Nine is a flagship tube preamplifier designed for ultra-high-performance audio reproduction. It utilizes four 6SN7 tubes configured in a mu-follower circuit topology, delivering transparent yet detailed sound with remarkable presence. The preamp features an analog remote volume control, separate fully regulated power supply with toroidal transformer and seven separate regulators, and a logical turn-on procedure that protects downstream components while prolonging tube life. The unit includes five input sources (with optional MM/MC phono board available), two line outputs, and a headphone output. It offers adjustable gain settings to optimize performance with different sources, amplifiers, and speakers. The Ninety-Nine is available in standard, Magnum, and Super Magnum versions, with the Magnum and Super Magnum featuring upgraded components including Mundorf capacitors, Dale-Vishay resistors, gold tube sockets, and premium silver wiring. The preamp inverts polarity and is entirely designed and built in the USA.
