The Rogue Audio RP-9 preamplifier elevates the award-winning RP-X hardware and software platform to a new level, focusing on near perfect signal integrity, ultra-wide bandwidth, low distortion, and a vanishingly low noise floor. It uses four Russian military 6H30P tubes in a balanced mu-follower configuration, delivering exceptional detail, smoothness, and refinement that redefines reference-caliber preamplifier performance. The RP-9 includes a home theater bypass, processor loop, mono button, and an elegant, defeatable OLED display. It comes with a machined aluminum 10-button remote control for convenience. Connectivity options include two pairs of fully balanced XLR inputs, three pairs of RCA line-level inputs, two pairs of balanced XLR outputs, and two sets of RCA variable outputs. The preamplifier also features a highly capable 2 watt tube-based headphone amplifier, a massive power supply, slow start turn-on sequencing, auto mute at turn on/off, and a detachable IEC power cord. It is fully tested, burned in, auditioned, and proudly handcrafted in the USA with a 3-year limited warranty (6 months on tubes).
