About the Pharaoh

The Rogue Audio Pharaoh is a flagship hybrid integrated amplifier that combines tube preamplification with solid-state power amplification to deliver both dynamic power and the organic midrange and sweet top end characteristic of tube amplifiers. The preamplifier section utilizes a pair of long plate 12AU7 tubes configured in a mu-follower topology with large coupling capacitors and exotic parts to preserve audio signal integrity. A massive linear power supply delivers energy to the solid-state power amplifier section. The Pharaoh features a tube-driven headphone amplifier, user-adjustable MM/MC phono preamp, home theater bypass, remote-controlled volume with mute, and a processor loop. It is entirely designed and hand-built in the USA with a 3-year limited warranty (6 months on tubes).
