The Rockport Technologies Cygnus is a high-end floor-standing loudspeaker designed to deliver exceptional sound quality. It features a unique Aluminum/MDF hybrid construction, with the baffle made from two ¾-inch thick aircraft-grade aluminum plates. The speaker includes a 6-inch carbon fiber sandwich composite midrange driver, two 10-inch carbon fiber sandwich composite woofers, and a 1-inch beryllium dome tweeter mounted on a waveguide. The Cygnus has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 30 kHz (-3 dB), a sensitivity of 90 dB SPL/2.83 V, and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. It requires at least 30 watts of amplification power. The speaker's dimensions are 50.5 inches in height, 13.5 inches in width, and 27.5 inches in depth, with each unit weighing 285 pounds.
